Netta was born in Oklahoma but moved shortly after due to her father's commitment to the United States Air Force.  You could say she was a military "brat"

She is a single mother of one daughter, Sametria.  Netta dedicated her life to serving God first and giving her daughter the best life she could as a single mother.  The word cancer is no stranger to her family.  She lost her father to cancer.  Not just cancer but the same cancer that attacked her, Lymphoma

Her greatest wish is that her book will help someone going through their storm.  It will give her great joy to know that this book encourages the reader not to give up and to know that there is hope in Christ Jesus.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.  Matt. 4:23
